The online event will focus on the latest progress and developments in survey and clearance of anti-personnel mine and cluster munition remnant contamination globally.

Mine Action Review will provide a briefing of key findings of this year’s Clearing Cluster Munition Remnants and Clearing the Mines reports, ahead of the upcoming Eighteenth Meeting of States Parties to the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention (APMBC) and the Second Review Conference of the Convention on Cluster Munitions (CCM). We will also present provisional results from Mine Action Review’s monitoring of the APMBC Oslo Action Plan for actions related to survey and clearance.
The Lebanon Mine Action Centre (LMAC) will present on Lebanon’s CCM Article 4 implementation and the Zimbabwe Mine Action Centre (ZIMAC) will present on Zimbabwe’s APMBC Article 5 implementation, reflecting on progress and challenges on the road to completion.
